The frontend for ordering and tasking satellite imagery, backed by the TARA API.

I'm a software developer at European Space Imaging. I build the web applications and backends that customers use to order and task satellite imagery, which means I follow a request from the first click to the image coming back from orbit. I work across the whole stack, and that's what I enjoy most about it.
Tools I work with day to day:
Also in the toolbox, from past projects:
Tauri · Electron · TipTap · MUI · Three.js · Playwright · Java / Android · Fastify

A Tasking Archive API for ordering earth observation data, built for partner integrations.
A hexagonal chess variant with online multiplayer, built to get comfortable with WebSockets.
I build and maintain the platform used to order satellite imagery. It’s a full-stack app: Node.js with TypeScript on the backend, React with TypeScript on the frontend, backed by PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
Customers use a GUI and an API to browse, order, and task imagery. The same platform runs our internal business logic, so it’s how the company manages its workflows and operations.
I built the frontend of the satellite imagery ordering platform, along with a number of other frontends across the company. The stack: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Mapbox, Open Layers, Ant Design, and Vue.
The n*soria research project at University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern, led by Prof. Hendrik Speck, runs several projects, including a university marketing platform that I developed. As its full stack developer, I handled the conception, the front-end, the back-end, and the design.

The programme is built on computer science, web development, and digital content creation, with plenty of hands-on projects. I came away with web development, Java desktop programming, databases, app development, UX design, and CMS. Several of those projects are in the portfolio below.

I completed six months of work experience to get my technical baccalaureate recognised. The company let me work full time as a software developer, which is where I learned the most. I worked with Visual Basic, Java, Android, and SQL. My biggest project: an interface for the internal telephone system that showed employee status and routed calls between departments.
